Sleep eludes/escapes/whispers by, a distant memory forgotten/lost/ignored. The weight of the world bears down/presses upon/crushes with each passing hour.
Days/Time/Moments stretch on, an endless marathon/journey/river flowing rapidly/slowly/unrelentingly forward. The sun rises/creeps/appears, a cruel reminder of the passing/fleeting/vanishing hours. But still, the figure remains/persists/endures, their gaze haunted/heavy/fixed on the horizon, hoping for a glimpse of dawn/light/release. A desperate/futile/heartbreaking struggle against the darkness/silence/emptiness.
Stuck in a Cycle of Fatigue
The constant leech on my energy is starting to feel as if an endless loop. Every day I wake up feeling tired, and no matter how much sleep I get, the fatigue lingers. It's a vicious cycle that makes it difficult to enjoy simple things like spending time with loved ones or even just tackling my daily chores. I feel stuck in this state of constant weakness, and it's starting to affect me both physically and mentally.

The blanket are mountains I must scale each night. My thoughts races like a cheetah, leaving me trapped in a whirlpool of stress. I flip and groan, my limbs a dancer's nightmare. The clock mocks me with its relentless beeping. Sleep, the elusive beast, remains just out of sight. I am exhausted, yet I linger in this battleground. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Maybe.
Counting Sheep That Never Come
As the night descends and the world falls, my mind turns to a place of endless meadows. There, fluffy sheep roam in a sea of vibrant grass. But these are not ordinary sheep; they appear only in my dreams. I reckon them, one by one, as the minutes tick by, but they never arrive. They are a phantom, always just out of reach.

Life meanders in a ceaseless current of moments, each fleeting and transient. Yet for some, this pulse is disrupted by an insidious affliction: the burden of constant wakefulness.
